About the event
Join your fellow newer or entering farmers for a day of information on beginning farmer programs and resources, and tour of veteran-owned Sinking Creek Meats farm.
We'll begin the day in the 'classroom' at Centre Hall Fire Company, then travel to the farm.

USDA Beginning Farmer Coordinator overview of USDA programs & financing
Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and county Conservation District technical assistance and cost share programs
Homesteading and scaling up--from garden to small business
