About the event


Check in at the Armory begins at 8:30AM; sessions begin at 9AM. Choose to stay from 3:30-4PM for extra networking time following the sessions, if you wish.

At this time, registration is open only to eligible veterans, military, and their spouses. Should space allow, registration may be open to guests at a later date. Please check back.

Can I do that on my farm? Michael (USN) & Sharon Reifsnyder of GEMS Farm hops and aquaponics will unveil a new resource tool for veteran farmers, and share details of how they've navigated obstacles in establishing ag ops, particularly working with municipalities. 


Conservation programs... the farmer's perspective Hear our experienced panel of farmers and service providers on the benefits and challenges of applying for conservation cost shares, tax credits, and grants. They'll discuss the alphabet soup (EQIP...ACAP...REAP..) of programs and help attendees understand at which stage of farming particular ones may fit…
